Hello all Whilst having a potter about on the 1985 tt supplied with the scrolly sim, I currently have 2J59 stood at Palmers Green with a clear road all the way to Ally Pally, and decided to put the road back at 832 signal, only to get the message about an aspect change to 2J59, which is still at Palmers Green with a Green aspect at 840. 834 & 836 both stepped back from Green to single Yellow and double yellow repesctively as one would hope. Don't know if it been reported elsewhere, certainly cannot find it, so apologies if this is rumbling over old ground. Dibbs When in doubt - Contingency plan 2A. Someone didn't buy the milk - 2A. Someone sneezed at Swansea - 2A. A driver complains the cab is too cold - 2A. Unable to operate a HEx service 4 vice 8 - 2A. Points failure at Ipswich - 2A. Landslip at Pitlochry - 2A Log in to reply |

It could be that the train had just left Palmers Green and therefore could 'see' the next signal? Was 2J59 showing as stopped at Palmers Green in the train list?

Ah, that could be it, it was just pulling away for PG when I put the 832 signal back.

I don't have access to the Sim at the moment but if the signal is on a TC which has an integral Overlap rather than having a separate overlap TC then the signal will be some 200 yds from the end of the TC so the train may well be passed the signal albeit it remains G till the next TC is occupied.
