Just bought the re-released Edinburgh, brings back lots of memories of the old days! Experiencing an issue with the first train in from Hilton Jn (5G24). I've slotted the route and the train enters, but then gets held at EB674. Cannot set the route to EB672; sim reports "Route not available". I've read the manual, which just says about releasing HJ7, no mention of EB674! Any pointers, or is this a bug? Please find savefile attached. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Seems to be the same issue as https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/51117?postId=130033 ? (Not that I'm criticising you, it's easy to miss things in threads) Log in to reply |

Looking at the version history in the manual, it appears to have been fixed but waiting an update to be pushed out today.

Out of interest, if this is a 'simple' port from scrolly to loader, will previous TTs work or have their been other off-sim changes which will render them incompatible?
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |

I have that TT as well as a 1993 one, so would be interesting to see if they can be run in the Loader. Can't check myself at the moment as I'm trying to get a Carlisle game finished first. I'd expect most timetables would run out of the box with perhaps some minor tweaks for less than a handful of trains. I believe there have been some changes to the way ACI works in CoreCode which may require significant changes to the way train divide instructions are ordered. Others who understand that will be better placed to explain. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

The 1993 (v2) timetable is a non-starter in loader. It uses the 'long' platform in a way that makes all the sleeper timetables invalid. The update is already done and tested as part of the loader update testing, so will go public inside a week. There are also 1993 chaining timetables for CSCOT (minor update) and Motherwell (new) Bill Last edited: 28/07/2020 at 17:26 by bill_gensheet Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bugsy |
