I'm updating the 1985 (v7.21) Timetable and trying to get 6H631 to enter the sim, however the Timetable validation is claiming an incorrect route. 6H631 is tabled to enter on the Hitchin Slow line, run to Biggleswade, then shunt to Biggleswade Sidings for 20 minutes, then exit the sidings on the SL towards Sandy. The timetable editor is claiming that the path from Biggleswade Sidings to Biggleswade (SL) is not found. Is this a bug in the sim, or does anyone know how to make this train work? Just checked the main data file and Entry Biggleswade Siding to Biggleswade with Path SL at Biggleswade is the only valid path. I know there are timetables around that have trains that do it. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

What if the train is turning back in Biggleswade Sidings, then re-exiting? The TT shows exiting via the SL. Are you suggesting the train needs to enter the sidings, exit sim, then reenter with a new number and continue? Log in to reply |

There is no valid route other than as an entry- so you do need to lose the train- in reality the train gets shut in by a GF and there are a few sidings hence a fall-off location. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

I fixed Kurt his tt ages ago, if he will allow it I can upload it if anyone wants. I split train 6H631 into 3 trains (6H631, 6H632 and 6H633) and used some rules to make sure their entries are at the correct times.

Peter - Understood. Thankyou. Broodje - If Kurt doesn't mind then posting the updated 1985 TT would be very helpful and save me doubling up on the task. I'll hold off on updating until you have had a chance to ask him. Leigh Log in to reply |

Thanks Broodje. When you are able to ask Kurt about the Petersborough TT, could you please see if either of you have an updated 1985 Cambridge TT as well, for chaining to Petersborough. Log in to reply |

I've had my own problems here. When one train entered the sim from the Sidings, runs to the station, then after the driver switches ends and when he/she is ready to depart, the ARS lights up the wrong line. Rather than lighting up the crossovers to the other side ('Slow from Hitchin' across to 'Slow to Hitchin'to allow running towards Hitchin, it lights up from that corresponding track on the other side (Slow to Hitchin) as if the train is already on that track in the direction towards Hitchin. It's as if it thinks the Sidings are on the bottom of the tracks, not above as per the sim layout. The train needs to run across those crossovers before being on the Slow line to Hitchin.
