Using the 1993 TT, 1990s mode, no ARS but with TORR. Loader 5.6, Motherwell 5.1. Two (so far) loco movements have reversed in the incorrect location, much earlier than they are supposed to. This first occurred with 0S90, which arrived in Mossend UR1 and reversed as booked, but then on reaching M299 reversed and moved to the south end of the loop. I tried this again, editing the TT to put it in the correct location and reversed it again to the same result - the only solution was to abandon the TT completely and reverse it once behind M296. More of a problem was 0B85, which enters at Carstairs Up Sidings (Up direction MC425), which entered the sim, got to signal MC425 and then immediately decided to reverse rather than proceeding to its booked reverse of MC418. This also causes issues as when it reverses back into the sidings, it drops out of the simulation which leaves 1S09 without a joining loco for its Edinburgh portion. Snapshot should be just before 0B85 calls for exit from the siding if it is of use. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Confirmed. Didn't do this on test, but that was back on loader v4 and then current sim. Likely to affect quite a few trains and also 1984 TT Looks like the handling of 'near end stop' has changed. More digging needed to see where the root cause lies - sim or loader v5. Strip out timetable attached with bodged trains (0S92) (0B87) 0S90 (and I guess any Mossend North reversals from up yard), need Mossend N rev 'far end stop' and may also need position adjustment depending on train length. 200 is OK for a light engine. 0B85 OK with 'far end' rather than 'default' Bill Post has attachments. Hi Bill, I found this today - it also happens with whole trains heading to DA2. From UR1-3 to DA2 rather than going to sit at the rear of 296 0r 298 for DA1, they get half way across the yard entrance points and then reverse. I assume they are "thinking" they have gone far enough. Thanks for looking in to this. Cheers Neil Last edited: 13/09/2020 at 22:49 by nnr Reason: None given Log in to reply |

A sim fix has been tested, but as noted in other threads the fix breaks any existing timetables as it changes the timetable locations. As such a co-ordinated release will be needed, and while my 1993 will be part of that I very much doubt that 1984 will be. Bill Log in to reply The following user said thank you: nnr |

1993 timetable now updated with ver 1.1 and in the user uploads. Everyone should have been updated to Motherwell sim data v5.2 and loader 5.12 by now, but if you have not BOTH ARE NEEDED. Just as timetable v1.0 was incompatible from Loader v5, the v1.1 timetable is only compatible with sim data v5.2. 1984 to follow 'when it is ready' as that has *far* more trains to fix, plus some other worthwhile alterations to do while at it. Full version of 1984 timetable now also released. It is a single zip download for the pair of timetables and some notes, but 'FAIR' is unchanged so remains v4.0. Only the Full v4.1 chains to CSCOT 1984 (v4.3) and will (soon) to Edinburgh 1984 v1.0 Log in to reply |
