I had the same problem with Chris's timetable. You can change the Power Types once it has entered. To do this, open up the timetable F4 select the train, edit Train Characteristics/Power Type first then Initial Power. Click Ok twice to close the editor. Select "Timetable" on the sim's menu, select "Save As", select the timetable that you have just edited from the displayed list and save it. Click "Yes" to overwrite the file name. Go into the Train List F2, right click the train that you edited, select "Timetable Options", select "Run to another timetable" select timetable then "Select next location" then click on "Run to TT".The train will now run to the correct Power Type. I "think" I've resolved it, issue seems to be that despite the sim being told that the 313s are dual voltage, the sim throws a wobbly when it detects it goes from AC to DC so need to make sure you have both Power Type and Initial Power selected as Overhead AND 3rd rail. What would be nice if it can be done is to selected multiple headcodes and edit them as one ie only the power details, type of train etc....so not the timings. Log in to reply |

Reading up the posts I believe Chris is workiong on an update fixing these things so please be patient. Having said that there is nothing to stop you editing the relevant fields yourself and saving before you start the timetable. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Hmm did you edit your post so that my response no longer makes sense? Anyway if Chris used a generic stock type which is one of the tabs in the timetable then I think you just need to change that. Don't have access to a Sim at the moment to confirm exactly how to do it. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

The way to change it on the fly is as quoted by me in a prior post. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

Hey Guys. I'm going thru the timetable as we speak. The power problem, I've found can only be resolved with a restart. You need to go into 'Trains Types', change the power of Class 313, x2, x3 AND Class 325 (not that it makes a difference unless you chain, like I do when NLL comes out). Once you've done that, you have to 'Clean' the timetable (Developement Tab), then save and start again. I've found many formations mistakes and thats what I'm going thru now. Question: I'm changing formations as most are standard 2x4 or 2x3, but there are many joins at Kings Cross, Moorgate and Hertford North. Can I please have the platform lengths, because there are quite a few joins that are too long OR too short and I'm sure WAGN/FCC dont run 12car 313 services from Moorgate, and Plat 9-11 at Kings Cross can't take 12car either. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. I'm halfway thru the changes. If anyone wants it so far with some of the changes, ALL traction problems solved, please let me know and I'll upload it. I'm doing Peterborough too as thats what I normally chain to. Few formation changes too Changes: All traction issues with Class 313 Made Grand Central trains correct lengths changes to some services and correcting freight inconsistencies. Log in to reply |

Platform Lengths Platform 1 - Buffer stop to K285 Signal = 294m Platform 1 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 296m Platform 1 - Buffer stop to K287 Signal = 359m Platform 2 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 292m Platform 2 - Buffer stop to K283 Signal = 293m Platform 3 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 292m Platform 3 - Buffer stop to K281 Signal = 293m Platform 4 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 291m Platform 4 - Buffer stop to K279 Signal = 298m Platform 5 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 286m Platform 5 - Buffer stop to K277 Signal = 294m Platform 6 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 295m Platform 6 - Buffer stop to K275 Signal = 322m Platform 7 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 296m Platform 7 - Buffer stop to K273 Signal = 306m Platform 8 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 288m Platform 8 - Buffer stop to K271 Signal = 288m Platform 9 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 166m Platform 9 - Buffer stop to K269 Signal = 167m Platform 10 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 163m Platform 10 - Buffer stop to K267 Signal = 166m Platform 11 - Buffer stop to top of ramp = 163m Platform 11 - Buffer stop to K265 Signal = 166m Sorry but I don't have the information for Platform 0 at present. FCC Formations Class 313s Correct, no 12-car Class 313s. Most in passenger-carrying service is 6-cars however some 3-cars do still run. That said, I have seen a 9-car Class 313 running but that is highly likely to be ECS. Class 317s Many 8-cars, but some 4-cars. Class 321s Evening peak semi-fast KGX to WGC is always a 4-car and is diagrammed to be a Class 321 however Class 317s and Class 365s have previously worked these two services (1727 & 1857 off Cross). Train terminates at WGC and runs under a Class 3 headcode back to Cross to work the 1857. Again, mix of both 4-car and 8-car for many trains. Class 365s As with Class 317s, varies between 4-cars and 8-cars. King's Cross Suburban Platforms 8-cars (2 x Class 317 / 2 x Class 321 / 2 x Class 365) is the maximum. Hope all this helps, but any more questions then don't hesitate to ask. Chris was going to release it as soon as he was able to. I think he may be on holidays at the moment as it appears that he has not acknowledged any of the current messages. The UK Modern EMU Yahoo Group is a good source for unit diagrams, though unfortunately the Class 313 diagrams for 2010 are missing; depending on how much the timetable has changed, the 2009 or 2011 editions might still be useful.

Chris Presumably you need details of minor as well as major glitches. Starter for 10 in the minor category is that 2D88S enters Hornsey CS S426 but has Hornsey stop in the Location List. Barry Lots of us know how to adjust TTs - I thought the point of this was to let Chris know where there were inconsistencies in the TT so that the publicly released version could be brought up to date with the inconsistencies ironed out (in the same way as I would be very grateful to hear of any problems with the 0445 start TTs available for Edinburgh and Central Scotland).
