The timetable is based in February 2020.
GWR operations are now monopolised by Azuma workings, The only HSTs are the castle sets 2+4 sets with units providing the other local services.
Cross Country are in evidence, services are operated by HSTs or Class 220/221.
Freight is sparse but some still survives. a Few Extras have been added

Hi Chris - Great tt but it seems there is an issue with trains using the through line don't think they are calling at Plymouth. Reading the Forum on the Plymouth sim https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/43792 It seems through line stop must be ticked

Small point of order - we don't refer to IETs as "Azumas" at GWR. We just call them simply IETs.

I don't know that it's really any worse than Capitalstar, or Electrostar or Turbostar for that matter (which I'm aware are family names). Or Sprinter, or Pacer. And surely, surely it's better than Desiro!?

I'm not that crazy about IET either - that's not a name, that's its role. It'd be like calling the class 66s Freight Locomotive (FL). I suppose you could say the same about HST but at least that was more of a description and at least (if my history is correct) it was something of a first for high speed rail in Britain. You can hardly say the IET represents the realisation of the dream to run express trains between British cities for the first time ever!

Ah well, to each their own. However, the worst name for a train of any kind is surely NTfL < on that, I'm afraid I will take no arguments

Or "Aurora" as EMR have now adopted. Azuma is only used by LNER isn't it? They're Nova's with TP and Paragons with Hull trains.

The trouble with privatisation is that each company wants its own unique brand to throw out. Look at the 222s. The Hull trains ones were "pioneers" and then changed to meridians under EMT.

I suspect the reason HST stuck is because that was the overall project name by BR and there was only one name used and a single type built, the same with the APT.

I would argue that while IEP was the name of the whole Class 800/802 project, IET is a good enough name for the train itself.

What amuses me is that GWR refuse to refer to the short-formed HSTs as HSTs. The official name is "Castle Class", despite simply being HSTs with four fewer coaches, and with sliding doors and retention toilets. That's it - no technical modifications have been made to the power cars (except to add a traction interlock light, warning loudspeaker, and an override button in the cab), so as far as I'm concerned they're still HSTs (as they could still go 125mph with enough vehicles in the train to satisfy the rule book).

Most drivers refer to them as "two plus fours". No one ever says "Castle Class" or "255". It's funny how some names stick and others don't.
