I’m playing the York September 1991 Timetable V9.0e GW.WTT and have a problem routing TP15 as per its timetable (see attached screenshot). I’m told that there isn’t a route from signal 245 to UP ARR #1 so what is the correct route. Is it via Skelton Junction? I’ve already sent one train that way and had no problem, although had to reverse its direction after it passed shunt signal 666, but, if I add Skelton Junction to the timetable I get a message saying “Not safe to reverse at location Skelton Jn from any direction.”

Looks like I’m doing something wrong. But what?

Any advice welcome.

Per the manual:

Quote:
When setting a route from Y245 towards the Up Arrival lines, put the hand points into the correct position for the desired arrival road, and then set a route from Y245 to Y634. While the latter (Y634) is unusual because it's not the exit to the route, it is the way it is handled in the real life York IECC. Route lights will only appear between Y245 and Y634 - again, prototypical.

Thank you for this information.

I did read the manual but not recently, and had obviously not remembered this.
Never have been any good at retaining information as some of my GCE examination results would indicate. Oh well :\
