Quote:
Trains booked non-stop via Welwyn will accept the route onto the Hertford line at Langley Jn.

This also works the other way, however this should not be the case for trains to Bounds Green Depot, as it is not reachable from the main line. However, no wrong route call is made and drivers accept the route towards Welwyn.

In reality would the driver just accept the route knowing that he could change ends at Hornsey and enter the depot from the South?

Probably also S666 (FL>SL last chance before HL split) but I haven't checked that.

Yes this is correct, but the driver would call up and check. It is in fact its happening this weekend where trains enter BN from the south, possession on the Bowes Park Reverser, some trains leave KGX, go to New Barnet, reverse, go to Ally Pally and reverse into the south end of the depot.
