I have a problem with simulations working on battery power only. The simulations tend to freeze up or behave very sluggishly if I use battery power instead of mains power. I hasten to add that I have no problem browsing, using e-mail resources, etc.; it is only when I try to use 'SimSig' that I start to have problems. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Simulations work fine on mains supply.

I would check your power management settings. It sounds like perhaps your processor settings on battery power is set to quite a sluggish value. Perhaps modify this and check whether SimSig runs quicker? Perhaps also try playing a video or something else that requires a bit of processor power more than an email.
