Birmingham New Street summer 1990 TT is now under test. This TT is exetremly challenging & if you play it solo you will struggle to keep everything moving. Currently there are 1,191 trains in the TT, but this number may change before release...
As a sneak preview I will be hosting a session on Thursday (2021-07-212. Details are [https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Game/Details/8186]here[/url]:

I'm fairly new to making FULL TTs but, I'm in the slow process of making a FULL set of Timetables for Rugby North/Centre/South Watford Junction & Wembley Mainline based on the 8th April 2015 and will be chainable with ALL surrounding sims with similar Timetables.

I'm working (more like volunteering) at Chester cathedral with the "making tracks" exhibition so am not moving quickly with my TTs though it's slowly coming on, I'm around halfway through the SB Freights with just the NB Freights to do before the initial testing and fault finding can take place on Rugby North, then I move onto Rugby centre which sadly will take even longer being there are double the services as the branch from Birmingham joins plus the complex shunting at Northampton.

(p.s. if you see any videos of the model exhibition with Pete Waterman you'll probably see me as the only young person running around in a hoodie :P)

I'm about to start a refresh of my Summer 2014 TTs for the South West, and also expanding the series to cover Plymouth and Penzance.

Writing timetables has become a thing of joyness to me, I like writing them and then letting everyone else have a share of the timetables I do make. 9 Years of been a SimSig member is a great achievement in my eyes. Plus with all this Pandemic I haven't been fully utilised and working from home, I enjoy every moment of SimSig.

Its has to be a labour of love - Since Headshot asked me to produce TT's for his early sims, I've lost count of the number of TT's I've pushed out over the past few years.

Well, I really admire you two guys and of course all of the other tt writers and the developers.

You give me endless hours of satisfaction whilst playing the various sims.

One thing that I really like about the latest sim release, Doncaster South, is the ability to turn TORR off. I find it much more interesting especially with delays and failures set up a bit.

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

Doncaster South is a lot more interesting than I expected. There is so much variation in service that you really have to read and memorise relevant points of several trains' schedules at once - does it stop at Retford, which order is Newark Flat Crossing, can I let that freight run early to the next loop... etc

I'm hoping we're going to get some 80s timetables too. Probably fewer passenger trains, but likely more freight - if not on Doncaster South then definitely Station and North.

Panels 2, 4 & 5 should end up being particularly busy handling all the MGR traffic through Decoy Yards, the SYJ line and out to Immingham and West Yorkshire as well which is all now consigned to history. Will we one day see a 1991 chain from Grantham to Northallerton and Wakefield?

I hope that we see some timetables from the earlier eras when all of the now obsolete lines were still operational. Were there even coal trains?

Indeed, hopefully some of the usual TT folks have the answers.

More widely when dealing with 'hiistoricals' many shorter distance freight trains, and particularly coal, were not in the WTT. They were either in trip notices or 'coal plans'. That means that 4 concurrent documents are needed, with less scope to get by on the usual two plus educated guesses / photos / 'net wibble.

Just if anyone is bidding on WTT's etc on eBay, let everyone know so people do not end up bidding against each other !

Wimbledon January 2019 currently has all SWR trains in, these are being tested and tweaked before I add the freight, Overground, Southern and Underground services. No release date as of yet due to life getting in the way but I can assure you it won't get parked indefinitely, and is very much active.

The chainable Horsham 2019 (which I hope to be able to chain with the extant Three Bridges of the same date), is now at the bottom of the pile due to becoming corrupted (yes, I learned my lesson and there are now two backups), and will be written after Wimbledon but should only take about a week to do once I get round to it.

Ok nevermind, it turns out there's already a January 2019 Horsham timetable so there's no action needed from me on that one.

The first set of timetables I will write for the Doncaster sims will be a 1991 TT to chain with West Yorkshire & York North/South 1991 TTs, although some updating will be required on those. But with regards to the 1980s I've started a Tyneside 1987-1988 TT & will continue that southwards at some point taking in York North/South, West Yorkshire, Peterborough & the Doncaster sims too. I've got an MGR coal plan too that covers the late 1980s as well as some MGR coal plans f0r the Worksop & East Midlands areas. As already mentioned on here the majority of MGR trains run as trips & coal plans changed every week subject to the amount of coal required by the power stations to produce electricty & the amount of coal collieries could produce & no coal plan was identical as the tonnages changed weekly. Some MGR workings such as those from the East & West Midlands do appear in the WTTs & there's quite alot of them in the summer 1990 TTs I'm currently writing. But as ever these BR era TTs take a long time to write & test so users are going to have to bear with me on this one. That said the Birmingham New Street summer 1990 TT is still under test & atm I'm writing Coventry summer 1990 to chain with New Street, then it will be Wolverhampton summer 1990 & lastly Saltley summer 1990. But I can assure users that there is plenty of freight traffic on the summer 1990 TTs, probably alot more than you think if you were around then.

Last update for me until Mid-September. So progression has been made virtually non stop, with some sleepless nights due to my health where I can't sleep timetables are flying along at a rate I've never done before. I'm now taking a few weeks away from SimSig to relax and have some time to myself. I'm taking myself to The Sidings Hotel near York 16th-20th August so plenty of relaxation and note taking for York.

Currently working on various Saturday timetables dated 28/08/21, these will appear for various sims and it's planned that timetables for neighboring sims will be chainable.

Under final testing at the moment is the initial 28/08/21 release, Sheffield. Also being worked on at the moment are Derby and Leeds Ardsley with more to follow.

Part 2 of the West Midlands Chain TTs is now under testing. Coventry summer 1990 may get released before the Birmingham New Street summer 1990 TT as it can't be released until all the issues raised on MANTIS have been fixed & the new updated sim version is released. Part 3 of the summer 1990 TTs Wolverhampton is what I'm now working on for those interested in this set of timetables.

Finally have gotten round to uploading my Wimbledon Simsig timetable, set in Jan 2021. One or two issues I'm aware of in terms of trains losing ARS or passing trains where they shouldn't but the timetable is 99%. Just awaiting approval now.
