Doncaster PSB (North) Released

Everyone loves a new simulation, and that’s why we’re excited to announce part two of Doncaster PSB has been released. This one covers Panels 4 and 5 of Doncaster PSB.

Heavy on both freight and passenger trains, you control a mixture of the ECML and various other lines which branch away from it.

You are in control from just outside Doncaster station through to Temple Hirst Junction, as well as the lines to Scunthorpe, Ferrybridge, South Elmsall, and the north part of the South Yorkshire Joint line which avoids Doncaster station.

The simulation covers a number of eras, and comes with timetables for 2009, 2015 and 2019.

Chaining is possible to York North / South, West Yorkshire, and Leeds Ardsley.

Loader Update
Notably there is now an option provided in F3 to set if you’d prefer simulations to default to paused on startup or not, the default case remains the same as previously.

Users will also be prompted to login if they select a simulation which requires a license and they haven’t already done so.

Fixes to how long routes work in multiplayer (which mainly affects the Australian simulations) for clients.

As always there are various minor bug fixes, check the change log for further details.

Other Updates
Alongside the release of Doncaster North and the loader, there’s an extensive bundle of simulation and timetable updates. Most of these are relatively minor in nature, and a full list of the changes to simulations can be found in the relevant change logs on the wiki.

Notably simulation updates to Edge Hill, Warrington PSB, Cheshire Lines, Manchester South, Staffordshire, Shrewsbury, and Chester are all to provide chaining compatibility to the forthcoming Crewe simulation. There’s some more information about a mega chain game involving Crewe after the new year available in this thread.
