Go easy I'm just a little confused at Salford Central. So I have trains that have regulating stops on the Non Platform side on Up Chat Moss or Up Ordsall Chord these are mainly TP Services from Deansgate. They have pathing stop to wait for its booked platform in Victoria Station. I'm looking for assistance should I be using Through Line tick box for these regulation stops or just use Salford Central with Regulation Stop option applied without Through Line tick box used?

I don't have the answer, but my thought is (and how I've programmed timetables previously to be), is click Thruline stop if there is no platform and then select Regulating stop so the sims knows how to behave once the stop Thruline stop occurs. Don't forget you can always play around and test. run a test train at the very beginning of your timetable to see how the sim behaves based on your inputs  You got this. Thru line stop will be needed for them to accept the non platform stop. Regulating stop simply means the train won't stop if given a proceed aspect. Are they reversing at Salford? If so you want stop and go, rather than regulating stop as they need to 100% stop at Salford. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |
