Hello,
My colleague freshly installed SimSig but cannot run it, as the Programme asks him to "Download system files"
Where does he find these?

Ensure they have definitely downloaded the latest file which is available at https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/2683 and ensure they have done a reboot after install.

If the problem still persists, can you let us know at what stage it happens, is it opening the loader, or when trying to start a simulation within the loader?

This thread https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49358 particularly this post https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49358?postId=114132 by GeoffM may solve your problem.

Using the .fon file it is now working
Perhaps worth noting:
He is using Windows 11 and apparently the Installer can not install the fonts owing to a possible Rights conflict.
Many thanks

Glad you've got it sorted, we are looking into if there's anything we can do around the Controlled File Access update to Windows.
