Hello, My colleague freshly installed SimSig but cannot run it, as the Programme asks him to "Download system files" Where does he find these? Log in to reply |

STS124 in post 144961 said:He downloaded exactly THAT file and it still says the sameEnsure they have definitely downloaded the latest file which is available at https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/2683 and ensure they have done a reboot after install. If the problem still persists, can you let us know at what stage it happens, is it opening the loader, or when trying to start a simulation within the loader? This thread https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49358 particularly this post https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49358?postId=114132 by GeoffM may solve your problem. Using the .fon file it is now working Perhaps worth noting: He is using Windows 11 and apparently the Installer can not install the fonts owing to a possible Rights conflict. Many thanks Last edited: 01/02/2022 at 21:13 by STS124 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Glad you've got it sorted, we are looking into if there's anything we can do around the Controlled File Access update to Windows.
