There has been a lot of activity in the shoutbox recently where two sims are hosted at the same time. It does not matter how many are running if people want to join then they can do and not jopin in the petty squabbles about who joins what. This is bound to put people off hosting in the future and people will not want to join games. PLEASE can we stop this bickering

Great point derbybest.

May I take this opportunity to remind all multiplayer hosts that there is no rule what-so-ever stopping two or more hostings going on at the same time.

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

I think most of this can be put down to two or three of the less "matured" hosts, who constantly seem to have a game of one-upping eachother. Where's KEVM when you need him?

Tara, I wouldn't worry about it. When I've played in games you've hosted I've always been impressed by your fairness and etiquette as a host. When I see you are hosting I know it'll be a good game, so even if it does start after another, I may well prefer to join yours.

Spot on. She nevers interferes with people's panels, but is always ready to help when needed.

Tara's hosting was mentioned to me on Saturday as exemplary.

Mm, I'd noticed he hasn't been around for a bit - anyone heard from him?

Josie is also an excellent host(ess), maybe the rest could learn something from the Ladies.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
