I'm curious to know why the loop on the Arr/Dep at Peakstone is only 300m in the 2017-current era? Trains from Peak Forest Cemex are well over 300m. Upon recently a Class 66 + 24 HYA-Bs come in at 379m and has been for some time. The Arr/Dep and Run Round Sdg are both 400m in length. Also while I'm here Collyhurst Street Sidings Arr/Dep road is also 280m. The manual states Peakstone Arr/Dep is 300m which is incorrect and Collyhurst Arr/Dep as 245m which is also incorrect.

Are you just trying to say that the manual lists the incorrect lengths? The actually sidings in sim appear to be able to cope fine with the lengths you've quoted.

As you say the sidings hold the longer trains, I did some testing with the train I mentioned at Peakstone. Aaron (AJRO) | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |
