Hi,

How do I get train 6E95 to go down the block section at Dinnington junction as I've sent the train that comes from doncater down the section towrds worksop before 6E95, but 6E95 is now stuck at a red waiting to enter the section bound for worksop.

the slots show as set fro thr right direction but the section won't let me set the route.

This is on the Worksop 15-10-2009 V5 timetable (not the 04:45 start version)

Thanks

Is the previous train still in the section?
Have you replaced all the signals after the previous move?
What does your block instrument show?
Where is the previous train when your attempting to do the move?

Noisynoel (NOEL)
Have you followed the sequence in the AB working instructions?

The previous train will need to have cleared beyond the Worksop Section signal, block instrument returned from ToL to Normal, and the next train offered and accepted before the route can be set.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

I've tried runiing with torr on and torr of and I still can't send train through the dinnington section the green dots on the sections solid fro the uplie which is right and train 6E99 is at worksop so nearly at thrumpton pannel. and the dinnington section short of deleting train 6e95s from the sim or making it so late that it has to wait for a down train I can't clear the section. It's frustrating now.

there's no wiki on the box either.

I don't know what to do now.

If you have run with TORR on & TORR off, then I assume that you started a new game and had the same problem.
However, for us to fully understand what you are doing and then help, can I refer you to the questions posed by myself and AdgyG earlier in the thread. If you give us a few details, we may be able to assist. There is certainly no issue with the sim as I have run the senario without any issues at all.

no trains are in the section at all. both signals are red (M35) on the Maltby side and the one immediatly after the section the up line and the down line is at red on either side aswell.
The block interment shows a green dot light up for the up line on both pannels and i can't set it back to white again.
Train 6e99 the train in front is at worksop station so well clear. and 6E95s is stuck at signal M35

I'm using windows Vista if that helps

Didn't see any intructions on AB workings?

Right, judging by what you said, you havnt operate the block instruments correctly for the passage of the first train. You need to look at the wiki for the manual. If you vs.'t see it straight away then try the search facility, a simple but effective little tool

As I read this, 6E99has passed through the section and you can't set a route for 6E95, As I understand it the sequence in this case should have been something like:
As 6E99 approached the section you press the green "C" at Maltby Up SGL to ask Worksop if the line is clear.
The corresponding green "C" will flash at Worksop which needs to be pressed to acknowledge the request if the line is clear.
You can then set the route from M35 to WP608 and beyond.
As 6E99 enters the section you press the red "O" at Maltby up SGL to notify Worksop that there is a train on the line.
the red "O" will need to be pressed at Worksop to acknowledge this.
Once the train has exited the section and passed clear of the overlap at signal WP608 then WORKSOP panel presses the white "N" to tell MALTBY the route is now clear and the train has exited the section.
Maltby then acknowledges this by pressing the corresponding white "N".
The system then can be used again as you need.

I don't think you did this sequence correctly, hopefully this will help a bit. The wiki page on the AB system is here.
