I can confirm that, as it stands, the only real-life stopping position that would result in a train occupying the track circuit that 2A86 is occupying there is that for the up sleeper train. All other trains, including all lengths of IET stop before they pass PR104. In fact, the current sleeper stopping position is just further east than the old 2+8 HST stopping position, which also used to result in the train occupying that track circuit. Log in to reply |

It is down to coding, the default stopping position is set for where HSTs stopped. The mantis ticket will resolve that, although IETs will still likely stop beyond the signal as the only way to differentiate is by length. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 9pN1SEAp |

Moreover, you can’t have the stop point for a longer train before the stop point for a shorter train.
