An entertaining (!) timetable, thanks very much for the hardwork that went into it! I've run into something of a problem. I think this save should be before the problem started. I had 6E64 run into the Latchford sidings OK. It says it wants to join 0T15 which should emerge. Except, it never does. I can't seem to get 0T15 to emerge. Then train 6T77 enters. I get a note in the display that it wants to gain a couple of wagons using 9T15. But this also never enters. I also can't persuade that to enter. I'm attaching a save before and after (in the after, in a rather misguided attempt to get them to enter, I deleted some rules. This was unwise. But I only did this after they were sitting for about 30 minutes not doing what they were supposed to do. It's Friday, in the sim. I have taken a look and from the infomation you have provided it looks like you are using an older version of Warrington Version 1.3, the current version of Warrington is Version 1.5. it looks like this maybe the cause of 0T15 not entering, I would recommend updating to the latest version. The reason for the train not entering looks like some locations were missing in the older version and they have been added to the latest version, using this timetable on Warrington 1.3 will result in timetable errors which results in the train not entering. When you update to the latest version of Warrington you will unfortunately will need to restart the timetable. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 58050 |

AlexH in post 155866 said:An entertaining (!) timetable, thanks very much for the hardwork that went into it!IIRC 6E64 is a set of MGR empties going back to Milford WS. Therefore the loco that joins that train in Latchford Sdgs is 0T19[Warrington Draw Back Loco Cl.31/1] not 0T15 which is the Arpley Sdgs pilot. 6E64 arrives in Latchford Sdgs at 03.41 & is then joined by 0T19/$T.19-B1. In all the times I run this TT the movess associated with 6E64 have always run OK & AFAIK you are the 1st person that's quieried this. Maybe you should restart a new game as you are the 1st person to mention that trains aren't entering to carry out their respected activities & see if the same thing happens again. But its 0T19 that joins 6E64 not 0T15. 0T15 does come from Arpley Sdgs & runs into the Traffic Sdgs before coming out & reversing behind AJ47 with a couple of MGR wagons to join onto T.77's train. I've download the save & will have a go at running it shortly. Log in to reply |

The problem in my message was with recalling train headcodes (mashing two headcodes together), rather than a more serious with me wanting the wrong trains to join. It would appear that, despite running the updater after a similar out of date issue occured with a Crewe sim a few weeks ago, I am still out of date. I think I missed the new version by a day or so. I don't have the stomach to go back and start again now. But thanks, Pascal, nonetheless for a very interesting timetable. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 58050 |

I'm at a loss to understand how folks still manage to run out of date sims nowadays as the loader performs an automatic update check every time it is started. Nice timetable by the way Pascal. Up to about 18.00 with no problems so far. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 58050 |

I don't understand the point. You want us to know that you never make a mistake? I haven't blamed anyone for me not updating the loader. I had recently updated after an issue with Crewe, and didn't believe the odds of there being an update to a sim I wanted to play so soon after another update were particularly significant odds. Not weird at all. Nothing to do with not making mistakes, I just find it strange that as the loader now checks for updates every time it is started that folks still manage to run out of date Sims.

Would someone kindly tell me how long the Reception Roads are at Newton-Le-Willows. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Forget that. I've just noticed the lengths on the layout by the Motor-rail terminals. Only a minor point and easily remedied, but I thought that I'd mention it anyway. It's just after 15:37 and 2J35 has just left platform 4 at Warrington Bank Quay Station but its TD didn't step up. ..... Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Well, there was no replication with 2J35 possibly because it entered the sim 10 minutes later that previously. Having said that, I'm certain that I didn't use the white arrows which, after checking the Wiki, I found are for shunt moves. Can't remember everything can you? This wasn't a shunt move and anyhow, I always set the onward route from P4 before the train gets to the station. I have never used the white arrows. Would someone please confirm that this section of track at Warrington Bank Quays station is electrified or not. I thought that it was and panicked when I was informed that an electric train had the wrong traction and I immediately went back to a previous save to start again. If it is the correct traction then I've only lost a few minutes. ..... EDIT: I think that I know what happened. The train came via signal 212 and that section of track isn't electrified is it?
