Hi all,

Is there any way of ensuring that a train always enters an area early? Whenever I enter a negative number on the incident control panel within the timetable editor it is only there for that session. When a new session is started or loaded from the previous time the early entry has disappeared from the editor.

You could change the actual entry time?

That is by design in the SimSig code so that you are not locked into a Groundhog Day situation every time you load a particular sim/TT combination.

Out of interest, what's the reason for the train always entering early?

As James says, the only way to do it is to make the entry time earlier than it would otherwise be for the rest of the schedule.

The number in incident control varies each time you load the TT based on the delay settings in the F3 options

I’ve written a timetable based solely on the recent bank holiday workings and just making it as accurate as it was to the day with a couple of freight workings entering the area early and then running ahead of schedule throughout.

Then put the times given in the planned timetables and set the entry time to what happened in real life. Upon entering it's up to the SimSignaller to choose what to do: let it through the area early or regulate it somewhere suitable place.
