The excellent/dreadful (delete as appropriate) savegame created by Maxand - {Max Anderson Tribute.ssg} - a couple of years ago has failed to load correctly for a couple of weeks now. The bottom line of the game, which includes the line across to Coalville fails to appear on screen at 1st loading. I have really enjoyed trying to work this save out and have played it numerous times. I realise support for this sim is ending soon, too, so I just thought I'd give it another crack. Sad.

Derby has been extensively updated since Maxand published his save. I haven’t looked how many, but the number of changes mean it is not going to be compatible with the latest version. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bfcmik |

That save is far too old and must be returned to the fires of Mount Doom in which it was forged. Won't be compatible with the updated sim. Nothing stopping you from recreating it though, by starting a new game and then leaving your house for the day Log in to reply |

Just seeing this prompted me to try and open the Maxand save file and it opened absolutely fine for me with no issues apart from the usual warning that the save was created using an older version of the Sim. I'm still on the older 5.28 version of the loader though so not sure if the latest version has updated Derby which is showing vers 2.1 on my machine....? Log in to reply |
