These are two separate but related suggestions:

1. Allow scrollbars to be hidden in a View window. Playing on a 1920x1080 screen I know where I am in the sim, I've memorised the keyboard shortcuts etc, and the scrollbars take up space that could be used to make the messages and timetable windows bigger

2. Allow a View to be locked (preventing scrolling) and also hiding the scrollbars. This allows me to set up additional Views for e.g. a particular junction or level crossing or slot/block panel I can't accidentally "nudge". Also to recreate the old multiwindow/non-scrolly sims if I have enough monitor space and feel the need!

Both could be implemented in the right-click menu you get in the Views windows.

(named for the one in Tasmania, not in Russia)

Good afternoon, there is already a suggestion ticket in the core code for this Mantis 12159. Given it is a core code ticket you won't be able to view it, but the suggestion has already been acknowledged.

Thanks
