I do not seemed to be able to call any shunter. The first one that becomes a problem is when a train is approaching Merehead. When I click on the Phone Icon and select "Place a Call". I have nothing in the drop down boxes at all ? What I am doing wrong. Please help. Tim Log in to reply |

In Westbury you don't need to call shunters. It is indeed not possible.

Are you clicking on the grey triangle just to the right of the "ARR" text as the end point of the route? If you are clicking on the signal above the "DEP" text the sim doesn't recognise that as a route.

The arrow that you have to click is invisible in Windows Vista and 7. Click somewhere near the end of the ARR track, then your route will be set.

Hi all, as for calling Merehead, I have just started running Westbury and the first train went in ok, but I got a msg that I hadn't asked permission. Made sure I called for the next one. I have Vista and all the sidings/depot entry arrows seem to appear ok.

Try installing the new system files and this should correct the font issue with some Windows Vista/7 set-ups. Regarding the calls for Merehead... Place call > select Merehead Quarry Arrivals (from drop down menu) Dial Request permisson for <train> (from drop down menu) Send request/message (textbox will appear for train headcode - will need to be the complete headcode eg. 7C394) Ok response then given.
