Well, most (all?) sims available for SimSig now are based on the UK.
As being a member outside UK, I am keen on knowing railway systems overseas, but I would also like to see SimSig sims that are made based on my place

For example in Hong Kong, the MTR East Rail Line (former KCR East Rail or British Section of Kowloon-Canton Railway) is somehow exactly the same as the general railway systems seen in the UK, maybe except speeds uses km/h instead of mph? (Actually some information on Wiki and also here:http://www.railsigns.co.uk/overseas/hongkong1/hongkong1.html) Four-aspect signals, AWS, 25kV overhead (except local EMUs now uses TBL cab-signalling and is equipped with ATO, while inter-city through trains still use 4-aspect)

The same thing had been asked in the old forum (I wonder how old is it? The post is in 2009) http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_agora&task=topic&id=1347&Itemid=54 and I believe the developers have already got some "restricted" files.

It would be quite fun to operate a SimSig for a railway that I am quite familiar to~ and others could have chances to know more about one of the railway system in Hong Kong~~

So back to the main point, I really hope I can see a SimSig for Hong Kong.

(Well I know programming, but no professional knowledge on railway system, so I would wait for SimSig developers instead of coding my own simulation software)

P.S. If anyone of you here are Hong Kong people or you have visited Hong Kong, I am interested in chatting with you :cheer:

I am in Hong Kong about 4 times each year, next visit will be 13-19th October as I am at Trade Fair in HK and Guangzhou and meeting customers in Shenzhen, Beijing and HK.
So a hectic 6 days.

You never know whether a HK sim will appear but I think it will really depend on the developers knowledge and information they have to enable them to build a sim.
I would like a HK sim, but I am a mere player and timetable writer.

Blessed are the true believers, for only they shall walk the Path, and they shall be welcomed unto the realm of the Ori and made as one with Them.

This idea for this simulation has already been discussed in this thread.
