@jc92 & @McBoo: Wrong answers I'm afraid. btw: @McBoo92: didn't know Pevensey & Westham closed to that noise too although I didn't think there were many crossings left in existance which still have a bell like that. Dave Log in to reply |

I will try and narrow it down a bit further. The location where http://www.btinternet.com/~dcharries/CIMG7326.WAV is south of a straight line - if you can picture it - running from Redditch to Cambridge. Dave Last edited: 27/10/2011 at 17:21 by DaveHarries Log in to reply |

I like the multi-coloured brickwork in #206 - but I have utterly no idea where it is! One of mine posted earlier, from page 17 of the thread, is still outstanding - as in "no guesses", I mean. Here it is again, plus a second one which should hopefully be a clue, if I tell you that (as the crow flies) the two shots were taken about 2 1/2 miles apart. As an extra clue, both are in the UK, but are not, and are not likely to be, on a SimSig sim. Incidentally, the bridge I took FP5 from is, to this day, defended by tank traps. That's not a clue, just an interesting factoid for you. FP1 again: FP5: Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Regarding my picture in post #206: the location of this box is in the southernmost third of England. Dave Log in to reply |

" said:I like the multi-coloured brickwork in #206 - but I have utterly no idea where it is! Yes I thought also that brickwork was rather nice. Had to be careful with the editing but I am surprised how well the editing (to remove the nameplate on the box) turned out. Took me about three tries - and around half an hour - on Paintbrush to make the location of the nameplate as unobvious as possible. " said: FP5: At a straight guess, is this Aynho Junction (nr. For some reason when I saw FP5 above I thought it was Westerleigh Junction.
