A little tutorial here on token systems as applying to Bristol which I hope will prove useful.

Your comments and suggestions appreciated.

Looks good. One thing I would suggest is for trains from portbury, I always interpose at 337 as soon as the driver requests the token. Then I know where it's going, and don't have to remember to do it once he arrives

"Even without the Train List we know it is still moving, since the KEY is still OUT."

is that true? all you really know is the train is in section in possession of the staff. probably change to something along the lines of:

"whilst the token is out, signal 335 will not clear. this is to prevent the driver leaving the section accidentally retaining possession of the token.

therefore, until the token has been replaced (shown when the KEY IN button is illuminated) we know that the driver has not come to a stand at signal 335 AND replaced the token, so until that point, we will not lower ashton barriers as it is not possible for the train to proceed anyway"

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
