Members of Network Rail signalling staff have announced that they propose to take industrial action on Saturday 24 December 2011. Should the industrial action go ahead, services on the following ScotRail routes in the Glasgow area may be reduced or cancelled: Glasgow Central - Gourock Glasgow Central - Paisley Canal Glasgow Central - Whifflet Glasgow Central - Barrhead Cathcart Circle Services on all other routes will run in line with the planned Christmas Eve timetable.
