Possible missing foot crossings? 17/01/2012 at 05:00 #27505

Not long ago I came into possession of an EWS "Route Learning Pack" covering Bescot to Castle Bromwich Junction & Water Orton West Junction. Shows lines, linespeeds, 'routings' (signalled directions), signal information (rough locations, ID plate, type of signal (i.e: how many aspects), if it has a feather and if so how many, etc, etc), and possibly some other pertinent information.

On this document, it shows a foot crossing between Signals SY274R and SY274 in the Down Direction (or, slightly more precisely, between Signal SY274R and Thornhill Road overbridge), which leaves me wondering if it has a telephone for users and if it is missing from the workstation? Looks like it is here on Google Maps and here on Google Street View

Also on this document is another foot crossing between Signals SY274 and WL40 (or, perhaps slightly more precisely, just beyond Hardwick Road overbridge), which again leaves me wondering if it has a telephone for users and if it is missing from the workstation? Although, that said, for this one I am aware it may be just beyond the fringe with Walsall(?) 'box. Looks like it is here on Google Maps.

Both foot crossings have whistle boards before them in each direction.

I'm not fully sure if all crossings are always marked on 'the real thing', and I believe not all foot crossings even have a telephone (particularly the case for very low use ones(?)), but either way I was just wondering if, and ideally seeking confirmation on, if one of or possibly both of these crossings may be missing from the simulation?

As per usual, replies appreciated, thanks in advance.

NOTE: This document does not say on it that it is private/confidential/not for publication, or any alternative or derivative of those. In-fact, there is nothing shown on it that stresses, states, suggests, implies, etc, that I should not have it.
