whilst playing the edinburgh 1993 timetable, i have train 6E11 at grantshouse loop, which has detached a (presumably) pilot loco which runs into the engineers sidings. however, depsite the fact no signals or overlaps conflict, the ground frame will not release and throws up the corresponding message in the message box can anyone enlighten me on the reason, if any that the groundframe will not release? joe "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

Is P6 the UP end loop exit point normalized? (Pressing the frame release doesn't do it automatically.)

It works fine for me with track TGHLU occupied. Do you have any tracks occupied nearby? Barry Edit I ran a train into the loop and am unable to get a release for the GF. Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Last edited: 24/02/2012 at 02:21 by BarryM Log in to reply |

To release GF, the points in the loop need to be normalised! Did you see what happened to the assistant engine? Mine disappeared off F2!. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

" said:Should show going to Engineer's Siding in F2?You've lost me- when a train enters the siding it'll fall off the Sim after 180m and then return later and an "entry". The only thing that I am aware of that was a problem in testing was where you forget to restore the EG438 (PL) the remaining of the train may follow! Though that may have been before we had "unpowered" states - can't remember the full details. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Just run through this bit on its' own a couple of times, and it all seems to work as expected. 0E11 goes into the engineers sidings and exits. 6E11-1 heads off at least 4 minutes later (the rule stops it following 0E11 giving you 4 minutes to put EG438 back), and normalise the GF for the train to depart. Then at 0710 0E11-1 enters, operate the GF again and it heads back to Edinburgh. If ignored long enough 0E11 phones up. All I can think is that as 0E11 only shows on F2 for a minute or so from dividing to exiting you missed it. Bill (1993 is my TT) Log in to reply |
