This is a great site, however - is there anyway to narrow down what stock is on what? Freights for example i could probably havea stab at, but how would you know if it's a 66/70/60 etc?

Horgy, Clicking on the (i) info button at the beginning of each line gives more of the WTT schedule. At the top is a little more information: This is the 15:46 Sleeper train from Tallington to Whitemoor! :side: No Reservations (No beds and no seats either!) :evil: Train 6L57 Permanent CIF schedule H59629 D715 timed at 060mph This may or may not give a guide to where you may find some of the information you want. If you don't see what you need - try emailing the website author Peter Hicks with a request.... Obviously you won't get everything on a plate from one source, but there is no harm in asking. Ken, I did click that and see the information you do - I just struggle to turn "D715" as you say into "Class 90 + X Mk3 Sleeper Stock". Is there a table somewhere I need to look at? JGH Log in to reply |

Sorry Horgy, That info will have to come from others far more knowledgeable than me - As to this Sleeper train...... You will struggle to turn "D715" as you say into "Class 90 + X Mk3 Sleeper Stock"! I did hint that 'No Reservations (No beds and no seats either!)' might be a clue in this trains makeup! :evil: As they say - here is one I prepared earlier - in 2008! Sadly they've removed the option to see which stock the train is running and what speed it's timed at.. Edit: Okay, nevermind.. It's back!

I see this site no longer shows freight or ecs, anyone know what's happened? The message on the site says get in touch by email, which I have done, but have had no reply.

Some muppet somewhere must have complained by the looks of that message. Quite frustrating as it was for the freight I used to look at the site, finding it useful for work as it saved ringing up Signalmen all the time to get them to look at TRUST to find out if I was likely to get a big enough margin to do any work on the track etc. Hopefully it will be resolved shortly. Hmm, I can't see any through the locations I've look at... But at least the ECS are back, they are useful for knowing whether its worth turning up early!

This isnt the only site that shows freight times. just so you guys know :) Freight times reapeered by accident when the site was updated. they have since been took down, He is waiting for a responce from network rail regarding permission to show freight and charters. I can't say for sure, but swlines i think have had input into opentraintimes, swlines is better because you can see cancelations and filter out passenger trains. All though the site doesnt show everything, but it shows the same as opentraintimes.

There are a couple of down sides to it. 1. Harder to read passing times as they are faded out a lot. 2. Cannot select any day other than current one (which on OTT you can). Log in to reply |

You can there is a drop down menu to select, calender day, around now, local operation day, if you choose calender day you can edit the dates and search into the past present or future.

Apologies for digging this topick up but i thought it would be better than starting a new topic. On the timetables, under allowances, does anyone know which sumbols show which set of allowances? i've seen numbers in (), <>, and []. would apreciate any responce as i can then add them into the timetables as i go though building them.
