You may be pleased to know there will be a brief interruption in adverts on this website. I don't know how long for - maybe a few hours, maybe a day or two. There's a blank space for the moment. It's just while it switches to a different account. Long story that I don't intend to repeat.

I know the ads on the site draw a lot of comments, but one would have to ask the question: Do they actually do any harm? After all, they raise money for the site, and you only have to click on them if you want to. Log in to reply |

A first time visitor to the site may have mistakenly thought that this was where one could download SimSig files as it appeared immediately under the SimSig banner. Planotransitophobic! Geoff, is it possible to put some text above and/or below the adverts in the sidebar? Just to make it clearer that anything saying "Download Now" there isn't SimSig stuff.

The graphic ones have an arrow where, if you hover over it, it then shows AdChoices. Beyond banning specific ads as they come up, I have no control over what ads appear, or how they appear.
