These is a small symbol on platform 3 on the Carlisle that looks like a [ -B ] ? Is this a signal only I do not seem to have seen it any use for it yet ? I had a look at the Wiki and could not find any description for it. There seems to be a couple more dotted around, Up Dumfries just before signal CE525, has one.

Ah...just tried setting a route from signal CE323 but the symbol did not illuminate or do anything else? I get an arrow on the platform to show the direction though.

it wont do anything, as per the real thing its simply a symbol on the panel, it has no functional value except telling you its there

It was fairly common in older installations to have banner repeaters drawn on the panel, but not actually indicated or proved. If the banner were to fail on the ground, the signal it applied to would show lamp out. I suspect this is what Tom has simulated here. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: woodruff |
