Hi I am a bit confused. After nearly every train on the down Trowbidge line I get a message that Greenland Mill LC has failed. I click on the failed button to acknowledge it and it goes after a minute but comes back again after the next train passes by. I have also had this happen on a few of the Up trains as well. Am I missing something on how to fix this problem. Thanks Log in to reply |

One cause (and the probable cause here) of a failed indication at an AHB is that a train has been within the crossing controls (and ththerefore the barriers have been down) for too long. For Up trains calling at Bradford, are you maintaining the signal in rear of the crossing (at the end of the platform) at Danger until TRTS is called? This will suppress the operation of the crossing and hopefully avoid a failed indication.

its a known issue with the sim. trains heading towards bath will fail the LC due to the way the Track circuit controls "hold" the crossing down even once the train has passed

Apologies, didn't know there was a known issue too. It sounded just like an issue with the equivalent of stopping/non-stopping controls not being used properly!
