Wondered if anyone out there had braved the snow to get some shots. I battled against the wind and snow straight after we were let out of school. It snowed most of yesterday in Chesterfield & its still snowing now. Easier walking on the roads than on the paths. Approx. 12-20 inches of snow in places around where I live. Surprisingly on BBC Look North this morning there were no reported problems on the railways. Unlike the airports & roads where some closure have happened.

Tress down on the track in Chirk cutting, and power-lines across the tracks between Holywell and Flint. Thankfully today has gone much better. Or you can install the Google toolbar (available here) which runs on anything later than IE6 and has an inbuilt spell checker.

No snow down here in Mid Devon, just a cold wind, and a lot of rain the past few days!
