Hi all, As I'm from Denmark, and I've been out with my camera this weekend, i thought i would share some pictures with you of the Danish trains i took some pictures from. I know that, this site is mainly about SimSig and signalling, but I still wanted to share this with you. So here you go: SNCB Class 55 (CFL 1805) parked at Fredericia platform 16. DSB Class MG 5836 arriving at Vejle platform 6 bound destination Aarhus. DSB Class MF 5287 departing Vejle platform 4 destination Copenhagen. DSB/DB Class ICE-T, arriving at Vejle platform 6. Destination is Aarhus from Hamburg. DSB Class MR 4228, departing Vejle platform 3, destination Fredericia. DSB Class K 563, passing Fredericia on it's way back to the Danish Railway Museum, in Odense. Hope you've seen something you liked :-) Regards, Morten Log in to reply |

" said:Nice pic of the ICE :)It is at that end. It get's higher later at the platform. The reason for it to be that low, is for the crew to cross the rails, to get to the other platform. Of course, this is only allowed to personell of the rail company. " said: i like the MF. does it only one motor first.Actually, i just think the engine at that end of the MF, is getting a bit too old. Usually it uses both engines. (It has 2) Log in to reply |

I think UK platforms are normally 3 feet above rail level, but I could be wrong there. There's a lot of variation though. I was in Copenhaven myself in February, and all of the S-Tog platforms seemed to be a similar height to British ones; main line stations, however, had rather lower ones. Log in to reply |
