Looking at the photos of the panel someone posted the other day there is no obvious TRTS.

Yes, TRTS has been removed where it doesn't exist in real life. Same for TD berths.

KX solo was challenging enough with the (non-prototypical) TRTS. :yikes Now virtually all services departing WGC and Hertford North are incurring 2min delays because I'm forgetting to clear the signals in time. No doubt when I do remember I'll then get a call telling me the train is delayed.

Thank god I'm not a real signaller otherwise the ECML would be chaos !!

I have never been to see KX panel personally if but I suspect its like many panels and is controlled by just more than one signaler. I don't know if the panel boundaries in the sim are accurate and match the real ones or not but I am sure there are others here who can tell you exactly how many.

That being the case, real life is more akin to playing it in multi-player rather than single player so just bear that in mind before you are too hard on yourself!!! I love KX sim and it's one of my favourite sims so I play quite a lot (usually on single player as well). I run it with the 1985 TT or if I am feeling like a real challenge, Peter's 1979 TT. Thew 1979 is a real toughie in single player but I like challenges non the less!

I take on board everything you say Lardybiker. My comments were meant as a tongue in cheek jibe at my lack of skill. At least with the new version of this sim I can slow things down when playing solo. One of these days I shall have to try joining a multiplayer game. Have always shied away from them up till now because I'm totally cluless when it comes to computers (so I'm worried I won't be able to connect).

Like you, I really like Peter's 1977 TT too. I also like the 2012 Olympic TT due to the intensive service and look forward to its being updated for running with the new sim and P0.

I realized your comments were somewhat tongue-in-cheek but I just wanted to point out that you might not be as bad as you suggested you may be.....
