Anyone got a suggestion as to how to deal with this loco. It seems to be looking for a joining move on the UT instead of P2. Thanks Ray Log in to reply |

I have now added another element to the TT for this RR loco which gets it as far as Peterboro S and back into P2, but I cannot initiate the join to its train, despite the fact that this is called for in both TT's. Any ideas anyone?? Ray Log in to reply |

The issue with the attempted join on the UT is related to the 1985 TT (upto v7.21) not being compatible with the latest version of the sim. At a guess a number of locations were added or renamed in the latest release, which are not accounted for in the TT. In particular the location "Petersborough S" and any similar location with route indicators do not appear in the timetable and causes the issue you noted above. Other issues include the addition of Petersborough Goods Line and Petersborough Flyash as separate locations, rather than just platforms at Petersborough. Since the TT does not have the separate locations this causes some unexpected ARS routing. Furthermore, any train TT that the ARS does not understand will not appear at all. I'm currently going through the TT and updating it to match the latest sim release. I'll post the TT in the usual place when I have finished it. Leigh Log in to reply |
