It's now booked to run Thursdays and Fridays on the same out and back and it should be available at short notice to cover for fleet shortfalls.

Doesn't sound too promising according to Twitter (edited feed): I thought it was odd getting on an art deco @VirginTrains train with no wifi or seat reservations. Shouldn't be surprised its broken down. Which service are you on? 19.03 Euston -> Birmingham Yes. I'm aware we haven't stopped for the fun of it. Why are we on an old train? This is the train that is booked for these services on a Thursday & Friday. This is part of our new timetable. We're going to break down travelling from the capital to our second city every Thursday and Friday? Shocking. Log in to reply |

1G40 got as far as Willesden before sitting down. RTT link. Delayed for about 40 minutes, arrived at Birmingham International 53 down and cancelled there. EDIT: Peter posted while I was typing. Doesn't get any better for WB64, 390125 now allocated due to speedometer fault on the DVT.

Can VT drivers remember how to throw a shackle? Yes they can. All the drivers do the training on a rotation. There is a booked training run, Wembley I.C.D. to Northampton, to keep everyone fresh. Log in to reply |
