Hi - really enjoying playing the excellent BNS. Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated:

I edited the supplied timetable by adding dwell times to the various train types to achieve more realistic timekeeping eg. so that if running late they remain at the platforms long enough to actually pick up passengers.

However they don't seem to be working. For example train 1O14 has just buzzed TRTS the moment it stopped at the platform despite having a dwell time of 1.40 assigned to a XC 4-car 220. I've noticed the same issue with the Pendolinos.

Does the train actually depart without respecting the dwell time?

TRTS can be 1 minute before due departure time, as at some locations the train requires a proceed aspect before platform staff can commence dispatch duties so that the train is good to go at due time.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

It's not a million miles away from reality, at some major stations I have worked at it is not unusual for platform staff to hit the TRTS as the train is rolling in to the platform if it is delayed, usually this is the case when the station serves more than one operator.

Yes the train departs immediately if it has the route. However my dwell time changes are being adhered to on Wolverhampton and Coventry (TRTS is triggered but the train waits until dwell time us up before leaving). This leads me to think I need to start BNS from scratch and I might have better luck.

That certainly happened while I was at Nst 2W34. Especially on the CrossCity in the peak when head ways between trains was only a matter of minutes. It also helped the cause when we got the 323s - shut the doors quick and they'd have to catch the next one.

That happens at my local station if the signal hasn't already been set by the signaller.
