Trending on the internet, there's a story and short video clip purporting to show someone posing for a 'selfie' at the trackside, and getting soundly kicked in the head by a crewmember aboard a passing train: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy8Yt-P614w A little googling suggests this may have occurred in Peru, on the Ferrocarril Santa Ana line to Aguas Calientes. I try to avoid rumour, but there are comments that the conductor may actually have saved his life by kicking him in the head; thus sparing him contact with harder and less forgiving metalwork of the train. A curious situation indeed. Does anyone have more solid information to sate my curiosity? Log in to reply |
