I found a small bug in tail lamp telephones. Image attached: the message is from 1D82, but the reply list allows me to reply to 5D82, its new working. Arguably accurate, in some very strange way, but rather silly.

I assume he changed head code between the phone starting to ring, and you answering the call?

Probably, seeing as the new working was at Bangor station. It still looks silly though; whatever TD the guard says, shouldn’t the signaller reply with the same TD?

Righto. Well, yes, that’s what happened—the new working was applied at Bangor platform, which is the same place as the tail lamp telephone is installed.
