Westbury to Westbury Down TC in 2 minutes? 18/08/2014 at 08:30 #63888

While writing a timetable, I've come across several trains that are timed to take only two or three minutes between Westbury and Westbury Down Yard, which isn't enough time for them to reverse. My theory is that Salisbury Spur is considered part of the yard, so the arrival time at the yard is actually the arrival time at Salisbury Spur, with the reversal into the main yard following later. Is this correct?

Steamer,

I think your theory is correct, I too have noted this anomaly on a number of trains & have used the Salisbury spur accordingly (with further associated times) whilst writing my T/T.
