Just wondering if there is a plan for this to ever run on Mac? My windows based Laptop is dying and it is being replaced with a Macbook. I would love to continue playing Simsig without installing windows onto my mac. Thnaks Cheers, Squeak Log in to reply |

Not tried Wine on OS X (but must, one day). If you decide to install a Windows VM on your Macbook them that should also work. I now use my iMac for Simsig, with Windows 7 running under Parallells 5. The large screen makes it a pleasure on the scrolleys, and on all sims it's nice to have the space for things like the incident window permanently visible. I'm sure other VMs (including the free Virtualbox) will work well, too. And with Spaces running I can switch to other environments at the touch of a key or two. All in all a great setup. So, what's next? Install multiple VMs and scroll them? Log in to reply |
