I'm confused by this article, Isn't GatEx operated by 442's? Why have they used a 317 image?

Correct, GatEx is operated by 442s. The new-builds are Class 387s, which are part of the same family as the Class 375 pictured.

In any case, photos published by non-specialist sites are very rarely accurate. If in doubt, don't believe them!

Looks like a 375 to me and are they not saying that the new trains will be of the Electrostar family hence the photo of an Electrostar?

Wow that’s an old picture! It still has its old Tightlock coupler! Those became 377s a while ago (about ten years) when the couplers were replaced with Dellners.
