Willpower withstanding, have made a start on a 2015 timetable for Victoria Central. Key reason for doing this one, the Thameslink and London Bridge Blockades have caused quite a few service changes, with all through Brighton - Bedfords etc routed through Tulse Hill, which will make that place quite busy by the looks...

Let's see how this goes....
Just to let you know i have been working on one for 2015 just waiting for the testing on it. It has just over 2000 trains in it
Bloody hell, why do I ALWAYS choose timetables that others have already worked on!!!!!

Sorry mate never written a timetable before and when i started it was modified to fit the Latchmere reversible as i was unaware of the 2014 layout being in the planning. I didn't say anything in case i messed it up and still may have done. once again sorry if you have wasted your time
So to be clear, are we talking about a modified 2014 timetable, or an actual 2015 timetable using data from this year? This years timetable is quite different.
Its the 2015 WTT time table which commenced on 05.01.15. If you like a copy PM me

If you use the UID's obtained from RTT, then I could potentially look at doing one to match it on VSE?

Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait!

Hi Andrew, I think John was holding off for the moment on Vic E for 2015 in case there is an update for a 2014 era where the layout around Blackfriars are corrected etc

I've never written a timetable with a view to chaining before. I'm not sure UID's are necessary, are they?

As long as both timetables use identical headcodes, they should chain ok, shouldn't they?

It works up to the point where you have duplicate headcodes - at that point the sim can get confused as to which (for example) 2W25 has entered the area. Some improvements were made to loader during Wimbledon testing to alleviate this problem, but UIDs are a sure-fire way of having the correct TT picked up on transfer. It also allows you to be rid of IMO unsightly suffixes and so forth for duplicated TDs

Thanks James

So I need only use UID's for duplicate headcodes, yeah?

It's looking this way. But I understand for trains that cross between sims that the UID should be the same on both sides.

My April 2012 timetables for Victoria Central and Victoria Eastern have been tested and ready for uploading. Due to the half dozen or so bugs that have been found by myself and others recently in testing various timetables in production I may hold off for an update. The errors seem to be related to ARS setting wrong routes or headcodes not stepping properly and most only since sim v1.4 was introduced. They are not show stoppers so when I get my router working I may well upload them anyway and list the potential problems in the timetable notes.

My new Sunday timetable, based on 01st February 2015, for Kings Cross will be tested soon. I have to double-check the platforms and then set up the train lengths before the TT gets an end-to-end test run.

The timetable has a total of 526 trains and I look forward to making it available for download soon.

I've taken the plunge and started a 2015 TT for New Street. Currently up to 16:00 with LM services, and not hit too many problems.

On Thursday I finally managed to sort out a platform clash at Kings Cross that was hampering my efforts to finish the KX timetable I have been building based on 01st February 2015. Hopefully no more problems will arise but it will be about a week - time permitting - to get the platforms and, in some cases, routings in & out of KX, all sorted.

Hope to get this TT tested ASAP.

Good luck with that one Gareth as I too will be starting shortly writing Wimbledon summer 1988 timetable shortly. It's a continuation of the summer 1988 timetable I was writing for the Waterloo scrolly.

Thanks and I look forward to yours too Pascal, certainly always an enjoyable challenge! I'm sure we may both be pulling our hair out by the end of writing them lol

Oh no doubt Gareth, however I've got over 600 trains in the Waterloo scrolly timetable, but I am still trying to convert the title for it to run on Wimbledon & then re-edit each train as it would save alot of timing entering them all in again. But so far I haven't been able to edit the title name of the timetable for it to run on Wimbledon. Hopefully I'll get there in the end.

Well the better one potentially would actually be December, as the extra Yeovil services should have started by then. But in any case, May 2015 shouldn't be much different to December 2014

Update for the April 2012 TT's for Wimbledon & Feltham:

Both are coming along nicely with lots of dwell times and lots of rules. About 1400 added into Wimbledon so far and 500ish for Feltham.

Wimbledon to do - few remaining Cl 455 suburbans, Cl 450 longer distance (mainly Pompey's / Alton / Basingstoke), freight and the Wombles (London Overground & Underground)

Feltham to do - A few Shepperton's and some Cl 450 Staines & Hounslow Loops, Ascot Guildford shuttles and Freight

Quite a bit of progress in the last couple of weeks with around another 500 trains added across the sims.

Wimbledon & Feltham left to do is the 450's (HC), London Wombles and freight. With the release of Horsham (many thanks Noel, Matt & Andy), there will also be a April 2012 Horsham tt to accompany these which will chain with the Wimbledon tt at Dorking.
