In response to the updates to the Loader sims with regards to seeding of trains and dwell times etc, over the next few weeks I'll be updating my Brighton April 2012 timetable to be Loader compatible

Exeter weekday 2013 is currently being tested to iron out any discrepancies & when this is sorted a Whiteball Tunnel block timetable will be started, once I can get the information from work (unit allox/final STP schedules/freight moves etc etc.)

Also in the pipeline are a couple of pre-privatisation t/t's for Exeter, which will be commenced in the fullness of time, when I am not required to help the real network operate

When in doubt - Contingency plan 2A. Someone didn't buy the milk - 2A. Someone sneezed at Swansea - 2A. A driver complains the cab is too cold - 2A. Unable to operate a HEx service 4 vice 8 - 2A. Points failure at Ipswich - 2A. Landslip at Pitlochry - 2A

I am already onto the case with a Whiteball Block TT for Monday 20-Jan-2014. So far I have 181 trains written into it but I do have some gaps as I am unsure as to some of the movemenets planned. Check your PMs: I may ask a favour.

I am currently doing a 2013 timetable for London Liverpool Street[ 10% complete] and a 2013 timetable for Liverpool Lime Street[ 80% complete]. Using the Liverpool Lime Street 2013 timetable as a test bed for rules etc as I only had a small dabble with the rules on the 2013 Carlisle sim. Also will be updating the 2013 timetable for Carlisle with the feed back recieved regarding need for rules and any other issues that come to light.

In between writing timetables for developers, I have already started writing a May - October 1985 timetable for the new loader version of King's Cross with a possible further timetable covering the period October 1985 - May 1986. No release date on these as I'm only working on them at weekends as the whole of the week is taken up writing & testing timetables for developers & there forth coming sims.

Ah a MO T/T, am doing a midweek T/T, so we can have different days of operation. Anything you need give me a shout, as long as it doesn't collapse at work, I cannot forsee a problem

OK, I shall reveal my plans:
A 2014/2015 Waterloo TT (With a twist...)
A 2014/2015 Bristol TT

Which TT would people like to see first and are there any other requests?
Happy Signalling!

Okay update time:

The three Exeter timetables already released (Summer Saturday 1985,Summer Sunday 1985 and Summer Sunday 1980) are going through the works at the moment for the new loader version of Exeter.Mainly a few tweaks and seeding services etc.

Partially constructed is Bristol Summer Sunday 1991

Gloucester July 1980 (weekdays) No change on this. About half way through this.

Also works in progress:-

Trent Summer Saturday 1991 Long term project.Ground work done.

Trent Metro Fictional (this was going to be 2011 but now renamed). About 3/4 done.

The Exeter "refurbished" tt's should be ready soon (ish). I then plan on getting the Trent Metro done. The others are really longer term projects.

A quick update regarding my Whiteball Blockade (20th January) TT for Exeter.

I have done so much time at work recently that I have not been able to get the TT finished and tested in time for release on the date in question. I hope to get the whole thing finished soon, albeit without any freight trains: I will need help on those.

As for what remains to be done, I have a couple of trains to put in on the Paignton route: once that is done I will have nearly everything written in that runs between Exeter St. Davids, Plymouth and Penzance. Once that is done I will have to turn my attentions to trains running to / from Taunton: so far I have only done the services to / from London Paddington so that leaves the CrossCountry trains plus the local stoppers between Taunton, Bristol TM and Cardiff Central.

The TT currently has 292 trains in it (as of 11:30pm on Sunday 19th January) which makes it the biggest TT I have built in my time on SimSig. This total includes no less than 81 ECS (5xxx) moves. This could be good when finished, which will hopefully be within the next couple of weeks.

The release of this TT will coincide with the launch, either on the date or soon after, of a website that I will use to make available notes for all SimSig TTs that I create. More on this soon.

Cheers,
Dave

A work-in-progress update: I've finished the data entry on my South Humberside and Worksop October 2013 timetables and they're going through initial testing. Data entry work has started on the matching Sheffield October 2013 timetable, but only about 50 out of 750 trains are currently in.

Having been distracted by the shiny news sims (esp Marylebone) I hope to get back on track (no pun intended) with updating my Brighton 2012 this week. Like some others I have found it easier to start afresh with it rather than going in to and altering each train

Freight trains at Cowley Bridge, Taunton and Exeter St. David's on 20th January. Sorry, I can't help with Headcodes or consists. Trains with bold times next to them actually ran.

Thanks Steamer. I took a look off the road overbridge at Tiverton Parkway this afternoon and could see a stationary engineering train on the southbound line. Looked it up on RTT and couldn't find it.

I could see the northern, but not the southern, end of the train in question but it looked to be several trains close together and laden with what looked like enough ballast to last several days worth of engineering work.

Remember that RTT only stores data in a publicly-accessible way for up to 8 days (7*24 hours plus the remainder of the day) after the train ran. So if you're looking at a specific day, it's probably worth taking down all the data in some way.

Just to add to Steamers post:

Don't have all the info but I've gleaned a few headcodes here. The first code is the RTT code with the respective head code following.The timing loads are then shown.

Cowley bridge 653D = 6W09 DBS 1800 tons 60mph
610G = 6W10 DBS 1800 tons 60mph
688G = 6??? Colas Probably a tamper as the load is "locomotive" and tampers often stable in the Premier Transport sdg.
649M = 6W08 DBS 600 tons 60 mph
650M = 6W07 DBS 1800 tons 60mph

Taunton 692E = 6A07 FLR 2400 tons 60 mph
637M = 6??? FLR No load quoted.

Exeter SD 633E = 6Z10 Colas 2020 tons 60 mph
007R = 0Z11 Colas 60 mph was 6Z11
688G as Cowley Bridge

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reminder. I think OTT is the same.

I should have all the trains that I know of written in by the end of Saturday at the latest: I am going to take a day off from work on Wednesday and get a bulk - if not all - of the trains that run to / from Taunton written into the TT. I did some more on Monday night and now have 305 trains in the TT, including 83 ECS (5xxx) workings. I reckon I could end up with at least 350 in the TT by the time the whole lot is done and that may go up by a few once any errors have been corrected.

Thank you both for this. However the times up to Tiverton Parkway are not given. I reckon that the train I saw at Tiverton Parkway on Monday must have been there most, if not all, of the day so I think that when I host this TT I will put, on the southbound line, the circuit through - as well as on each side of - Tiverton Parkway as occupied to indicate that train: it looked as if there was enough ballast on that train to last several days.

The train(s) in vicinity of Tiverton Parkway started moving south at about 21:45 last night, I was there when they started to move, but then my bus turned up!

Just had a look on RTT: seen that the freights heading back to Exeter Riverside NY passed Cowley Bridge Junction 121mins down. How late were you there?!

if you compare this with the other information regarding what actually ran you SHOULD be able to gleam the relevant information unfortunately, Cowley Bridge doesn't want to show up on its own, if you require any more info just ask, remember most of the WTT paths may have been cancelled STP probably ran... and VAR are variations to other paths to suit requirements.
