Strange that this has not been mentioned before, but setting the warner from OD12 appears to have no advantage as the reduced overlap still fouls 501 points. I'm sure this is prototypical, as the dev in question is beyond reproach ( ), so is this anomaly a leftover from resignalling? Judging by this photo, it does appear that the reduced overlap should not foul the crossover. http://wobblewinterwanderings.smugmug.com/Trains/Signal-BoxesRailway/i-sFT5xS7/A Log in to reply |

I have just had a look at the scheme plan that the original sim was built on and this shows the reduced overlap being the Croydon side of 501 points. I suspect that the position of the overlap may have changed possibly as part of the East Grinstead works. Paul You have to get a red before you can get any other colour Log in to reply |

Didn't they move those points nearer towards Croydon when they lengthened the platform?

That would explain it. This recent cab view (16:00 onwards) shows that the points are a fair distance from the end of the platform. https://youtu.be/Ciixpjgh3sA Last edited: 29/04/2015 at 21:13 by John Log in to reply The following users said thank you: TimTamToe, Mikhail |

1. From 18:42 look left. 2. The signals are not actually flashing, it's the camera the driver is using. Something to do with frames per second, I believe. Last edited: 30/04/2015 at 01:41 by John Log in to reply The following user said thank you: uboat |
