Great sim this, huge thanks to Peter for all the effort that has gone into it.

I've had an adverse change of aspect early on in the sim, but since no-one else has reported it perhaps it is an isolated incident.

The circumstances were with 0M16-2, having reversed in the tunnel I signalled it E813-E817-PC1 (where 0B16 was already waiting, as timetabled). As soon as it passed E813 it reported overlength train and an adverse change of aspect at E817. Is the train length detection too sensitive, since it and 0B16 appear to fit OK in the bay?

'Overlength' is based on TC occupation, not physical lengths so if a platform has two TCs of 100m each and the 1st train is 101m long then you will not get a second train in of any length. Having said that I've just spotted a flaw in that as the MR/PC platforms are not TCed then there can't be an Overlength trip.

As to why you got an adverse change of aspect I'll have to have a look at it.

Thanks

I think the adverse change of aspect on E817 was a result of the overlength indication when it passed E813, since they occurred in immediate succession.

All fixed for PC and MR platforms.

I should add that I don't have any actual details of how Edinburgh's Overlength works, save that I read a report that it had it and what you have is my best guess.
