There are a few TRTSs at Glasgow and Springburn however they never seem to light and the train calls in to complain.

I have seen it reported that TRTS has been found not to work but I've not noticed it myself as yet.

Thanks Peter, that explains Stirling ! I've only just started on these new (excellent) sims, and only really noticed Stirling, but I'm not sure if there were missing TRTS's elsewhere,so I'll have another go later.

Peter,

There is definitely no TRTS being indicated ( or sound played ) for trains leaving Glasgow Queen Street .

I think I've figured out some relevant details. I'm playing post-Alloa line, however, TRTS hasn't worked on pre-Alloa either. In the Post Alloa mode TRTS did not work when the level crossing control buttons didn't appear on the Alloa line (Waterside, Blackgrange, and Cambus); Although the labels where the control should be are present the buttons and functions don't work at the named locations.

If you look at the 'issues' you will see TRTS is known. TRTS has nothing to do with eras and I can't find anything wrong with the crossing controls you refer to

I have notice too the "level crossing problem" in the Alloa branch referred by Jsun.

When I start a new sim, the control buttons are present but after some time they disappeared (I am not sure on that, but this may have happened when I created in the timetable a new train that should have travel in the Alloa line).

I too do not have any TRTS (and I can not say if there is any links between the two problems)

Here a picture of one of two of the level crossing

OK I now know how to reproduce. Don't restart the sim in a different mode to that which you first launched it (either way)- always close down and restart for the time being.

Thanks

Regarding the problem of the SAK line and visibility or otherwise of the LX buttons.

After extensive testing I can reproduce the problem but I have to say it is rather bizarre circumstances so I'm not sure if it's strictly a bug- but I'll refer the circumstances to Geoff and Clive.

If you launch the sim in one era mode then relaunch (without closing down) using a saved game which was saved in the other era then it does get mixed up. As I say it does seem to me that this is an understandable consequence.

If anyone can reproduce in other circumastance please let me know what they are and give me step by step instructions.

Concerning the level crossing controls at Waterside; Blackgrange and Cambus on the Stirling - Alloa line, I am having the same problem - the four buttons/controls disappear. I've had the problem every time I launch the sim. In order for other to understand what I'm doing, I can confirm that I open in with a 'perfect' scenario, using the August 06 0445 start, tick the TORR 'on' option and the easy option and select the post Sterling Alloa era. As soon as I save and exit the sim, the relaunch of that game drops the buttons out.

It's happened every time I save close and restart a saved game, and I've found that it affects the sim even if the TT has only been running for a minute or two. The trigger appears to be the close and reopening of a saved game for me.

Any clues as to what's going on with my saved games?

Try starting the sim selecting post-Alloa mode as the era, then go 'new simulation' loading your save.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

It's a fundimental problem with the Sim nothing to do with what you are doing. Andy has mentioned a get-round which if it works is fine but that's all it is a temporary fudge fix.
