Brighton Platform 2 Length Problem 11/05/2016 at 19:21 #82275

Hi all!

As some of you know, I am currently making a timetable for Brighton and when I was testing it out, I noticed that 5H60-1 (a 4 car class 377 booked to join another 4 car class 377 at Brighton) didn't fit into the buffer stop end of platform 2. As a result of this, 5H60-2 (the now 8 car train) couldn't go into Lovers Walk Depot via the WCR like it was booked to.

I have seen 8 car trains in platform 2 in real life and their tail ends were well clear of the points leading to the depot and the oddest thing is the fact that an 8 car class 377 entering from the depot (WCR) can fit into platform 2 without the tail end hanging over the points.

Does anyone know what is happening here. Is it a sim bug or is the 4 car train that 5H60 is booked to join not pulling right up to the buffers?

Hope someone can help.

Leon
